There are three organizations involved in Railway as follows:

ENR " Egyptian National Railways" is the only organization responsible for the Establishing, Purchasing, operation & maintenance of Railway Projects.

NAT " National Authority of Tunnels" is the only organization responsible for the Establishing, Purchasing of Underground City Metros & Tunnel

CMO " Cairo Metro Organization " is responsible only for operating & maintenance of Cairo City Ungrounded Metro lines which are only  Cairo Metro Line # 1 & Cairo Metro Line # 2.
